Completely replacing the normal system for character races, you'll instead choose a species, a background, and then some individual options.
No species or background options affect ability scores. Instead, you choose any one ability score to gain a +2 bonus in. You may optionally gain another +2 bonus in a different ability score, at the cost of taking a -2 penalty to a third ability score.
Since default favored class bonuses are based on existing races, you may instead choose any normally race-specific FCB a class offers, or one of the generic options listed on this page.
Rules
Origin Bonuses
Most of the options here refer to "origin bonuses". These are Pathfinder's racial bonuses, renamed to better reflect what these rules represent. Racial bonuses and origin bonuses stack, so the difference isn't important. In Foundry, just enter them as racial bonuses.
Size Modifiers
Many species have the option to be smaller and occasionally larger than Medium. Size changes apply the usual modifiers, but do not change ability scores.
Species
Species represent mostly physiology, with some natural aptitudes, culturally-important or common talents, and sometimes innate supernatural abilities.
